Have you ever taken voluntary redundancy and do you regret it?

Lots of jobs getting cut at the moment so the competition for jobs will be fierce when you look for another job. If you have a mortgage or a family to pay for my advice would be to put that first and keep the money coming in, but if not then quit it if it makes your life so unhappy.
